Cinematic Wedding Films
Films that feel like YOUR wedding day
NOT just a highlight of it
House of Tattersall is a wedding videographer based in Denstone, Staffordshire, filming cinematic wedding films across Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Films start from £2,100.

House of Tattersall Films creates luxury, cinematic wedding films across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire. Based on the Staffordshire and Derbyshire border, filming weddings from intimate barn celebrations to grand country houses, as well as further afield across the UK.
Every film is built around a core package, covering the key moments of your day from getting ready through to the first dance, then tailored to suit each couple's story, venue and timeline. The result is a timeless, emotionally led film that feels like your wedding, not a template.
Luxury cinematic wedding films from £2,100. The Complete Story package, which adds a second videographer, is £2,750.
A small collection of recent films: each one different, each one shaped by the couple, the atmosphere, and the moments that made the day what it was.

Films that feel as much as they show
Every wedding has its own rhythm.
The quiet moments in the morning.
The anticipation before the ceremony.
The energy once the day begins to unfold.
My films are built around moments, with very minimal staging, certainly no forced moments and never following a formula.
Just honest, natural storytelling, crafted with intention.
The style
What “cinematic” actually means for your wedding film
Cinematic and documentary are not opposites. They describe two different things: how the film is shot, and how it feels to watch. Every film I make is shot documentary style, which means I capture your day as it actually happens. I do not direct moments, stage them, or ask anyone to do something again for the camera. What makes the result cinematic is everything either side of that.
- Two or three angles on the ceremony and speeches, so the film can cut between a vow and the face of the person hearing it.
- Professionally recorded audio from your vows and speeches, so the film is carried by real voices rather than being a music-only edit with the words lost.
- Natural light, worked around the venue as it is on the day rather than lit with rigs that change how the room feels.
- Drone footage where the venue permissions, weather and flight regulations allow it.
- A moody, editorial colour grade rather than the bright, high-contrast look most social media edits use.
- An edit built around the story of your day rather than a chronological run through the schedule.
The finished film should feel like a film about the two of you, not a record of a timetable.
Kind words
“Andy is incredibly talented at what he does. He has an amazing eye for capturing the best moments and shots, and it's obvious how passionate he is about videography. On the wedding day itself, he was absolutely fantastic. We got married on the hottest day recorded in the UK in May, in a beautiful old building with no air conditioning, and the heat was intense! Despite that, Andy worked tirelessly all day, stayed calm and professional, and kept us laughing throughout.”
“We honestly couldn't be happier with our wedding video. From the moment we met Andy on video call, his friendly, relaxed, and genuinely cool nature put us completely at ease! He blended so well into our day, making us and all our guests feel comfortable while capturing every moment so naturally. What was really special is his incredible talent for noticing and preserving both the big, emotional moments and the small details that might otherwise go unnoticed.”
“Andy went above and beyond from the moment we enquired to the moment he sent us our final video. The video itself was unbelievably beautiful and it captured the day so beautifully. We would highly recommend using Andy for your special day and can confidently say you will not regret it!”
“From the first chat it was clear that Andy was somebody that would go above and beyond for us. The video we received was stunning, and the montage is unbelievable how it all links together. It's something we will treasure forever, and we can't wait to show it to family and friends. We'd urge anybody looking for a friendly, professional and talented videographer to choose Andy.”
“Mate! WOW! We've just watched it. That is absolutely incredible!!! You've captured so much in 1 minute there!!!!! There were a few tears not gunna lie. Absolutely incredible!!!! Thank you soooo soooo much! We're soo grateful for what you've done!”
“Andy!!! Just want to say a massive thank you for yesterday! You were absolutely 10/10! You guys were so relaxed and put us both at ease all day knowing you had everything on point. Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book our wedding videographer?
Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. I only take on a limited number of weddings each year to keep every film personal and carefully crafted, so it's always worth enquiring as early as possible.
What areas do you cover?
I'm based on the border of Derbyshire and Staffordshire, regularly film weddings across the UK. The first 50 miles are including in the price, anything over that will be quoted for. I also film destination weddings across Europe.
How do we book?
The process is simple: send an enquiry, arrange a video call, secure your date with a booking fee. After that, we'll plan everything together leading up to the wedding. P.s. lots of the processes are automated so you know you will get emails reminding you at the key moments.
How would you describe your filming style?
My films are cinematic, emotional, and story-driven. In practice that means: natural light over artificial staging, real audio from your vows and speeches rather than music-only edits, a moody editorial colour grade rather than a bright social-media look, and an edit built around the story of your day rather than a chronological checklist. I don't direct or re-stage moments, if it happens, I capture it; if I miss it, I let it go. That's what gives the finished film its documentary, cinematic feel rather than a produced one.
We're awkward in front of the camera, is that a problem?
Not at all. Most couples say this before booking. My approach is calm and unobtrusive, so you can enjoy your wedding naturally without feeling like you're constantly performing for the camera.
Do you use drones?
Yes, whenever weather, venue permissions, and local flight regulations allow. Drone footage can add beautiful cinematic context to your wedding film.
Do you work well with photographers?
Definitely. I've worked alongside many incredible photographers across the UK, and collaboration is a huge part of making the day feel relaxed and seamless. My aim is always to complement the photography team, never compete with them. If you would like recommendations, please do let me know.
Do you record vows and speeches?
Yes, clear audio is a huge part of storytelling. I professionally record your vows, speeches, and key moments throughout the day so your film feels emotional and immersive.
Is wedding videography really worth it?
Photography freezes moments beautifully, but film lets you relive them, the voices, movement, laughter, speeches, and emotion. Many couples say their wedding film became one of the most valuable things they invested in after the day itself.
How long does it take to receive our wedding film?
Typically, teaser films are delivered within around 6 weeks, with full galleries delivered afterwards depending on the season and workload.
How do we receive our films?
Your films are delivered digitally through a premium online platform where you can stream, download, and share your films with family and friends.
Do you offer shorter coverage options?
I mainly focus on full-day storytelling coverage because it allows me to capture the complete atmosphere and narrative of the wedding day. However, feel free to enquire if you're planning something smaller or more intimate.
Can we choose the music for our wedding film?
I carefully select licensed music that matches the emotion and energy of your day, but I'm always happy to hear your preferences and inspiration beforehand.
Do you film multicultural or religious weddings?
Absolutely. I've filmed a wide variety of weddings and celebrations, and I always approach every culture, tradition, and ceremony with respect and care.
